17AM-K+PTC is developed on the base of 17AM-K, by equipping the heating element, which can make it have the power off protection and delay protection function. The protection is more reliable and more safe. 17AM+PTC can be applied for transformers; battery; lighting electrics; cleaning machine; water pump; electric tools; electric heating pad; and the household appliances.

Work Principle:
Due to the ambient temperature over high or current overload caused by the abnormal work of the electrics, the double metal inside the 17AM thermal protector will trip fast, the two contact break up to cut off the power, meanwhile, the voltage by breaking up the contact will be used for the PTC heating element, which will generate the sufficient heat to keep the protector on the trip status. Only the power is cut off, the contact can be connected again.(manaul reset function).
