Decription:
KSD301 Thermal Switch is a single pole, snap action, automatic reset
circuit breaker of Aluminum Alloy cased, provides a compact
profile, broad design flexibility and versatile mounting options.
designed to protect wiring harnesses.
Test method:
Sample is connected to the fixture of the equipment,and placed into
the test equipment (Hot current of air in the space of test should
be equipped with a stirrer and temperature is controllable).A
detect current about 10mA(no more then 100mA)is passed through the
sample and a thermometer is placed junction to the sample to
monitor the opening temperature .The temperature of the test
equipment is raised at the rate of 0.5～1℃ per minute until the
sample functioned.Working Principle of KSD301 Series Temperature Thermostat: When the electrical appliance works normally, the bimetallic sheet
is in the free state and the contact is in the closed / open state.
When the temperature reaches the operating temperature, the contact
is opened / closed, and the circuit is cut / closed, so as to
control the temperature. When the electric appliance cools to the
reset temperature, the contact will automatically close / open and
return to the normal working state.

Precautions:
1. When using the contact temperature-sensing installation, the
metal cover should be close to the installation surface of the
controlled appliance. To ensure the temperature-sensing effect, the
temperature-sensing surface should be coated with thermal grease or
other heat-conducting medium with similar performance.
2. Do not crush, loosen or deform the top of the cover during
installation, so as not to affect performance.
3. Do not allow liquid to penetrate into the temperature
controller, do not cause cracks in the shell, and do not change the
shape of the external terminals at will.
4. The product is used in a circuit with a current of no more than
5A, and the copper core cross-section is 0.5-1㎜2 wire connection;
when used in a circuit with a current of no more than 10A, the
copper core cross-section is 0.75-1.5㎜2 wire. connect.
5. The product should be stored in a ventilated, clean, dry, and
non-corrosive gas warehouse with a relative humidity of less than
90% and an ambient temperature of 40°C.
